Terms of Service

1. Accepting these Terms

By accessing or using VBall AI, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use VBall AI on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

2. Accounts

VBall AI currently uses Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication. You must keep access to your Google account secure and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized use of your VBall AI account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You must meet the minimum legal age for digital services in your country or use the service with required parental or guardian involvement.

3. Volleyball and AI disclaimer

VBall AI provides automated, informational feedback based on visible video content. It is not a substitute for a qualified coach, trainer, medical professional or safety assessment. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances.

Stop training and seek appropriate professional advice if you experience pain, injury or health concerns. You remain responsible for training decisions and safe use of equipment and facilities.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of your videos and other content. When you request an analysis, the original clip you select is uploaded once to VBall AI's server-side video processor for action selection and frame extraction. The original clip and derived media are kept in a temporary analysis work directory and deleted after processing, whether the job succeeds or fails.

Depending on the configured workflow, a short compressed action clip may be sent directly to the paid Google Gemini API for video-native analysis. Contact sheets, selected frames, context frames and related player or analysis context may be processed by Google Gemini or a configured OpenAI fallback for frame selection, verification and coaching analysis. The media sent depends on the configured analysis mode and step. You grant VBall AI a limited, non-exclusive right to transmit, temporarily copy and process the submitted and derived content only as needed to provide, secure and operate the requested analysis, subject to our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions for submitted content, including permission from identifiable people shown in a video.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt systems, upload unlawful or harmful content, violate another person’s rights, reverse engineer protected parts of the service except where law permits it, or use automated access in a way that burdens the service.

6. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, impose reasonable usage limits, or perform maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

7. Intellectual property

VBall AI, its branding, software, interface and original content are owned by VBall AI or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using VBall AI and request account deletion at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a violation, security risk, legal requirement or service discontinuation.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VBall AI is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VBall AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

10. Changes and contact
